General

Is there mobile phone reception?

The signal is very good on most UK networks and varying 4G is available. You might want to leave you mobile off though...

Is there internet access?

Yes, each cottage has access to the internet via a WiFi connection. It should be pointed out though, that the cottages in the traditional Victorian building can lose connection when the weather is bad. We are working with BT to remedy this!

Where do I pick up the keys?

You will receive instructions via email or phone on where to pick up keys, a few days before arrival. We also have a map and directions option on our location page to help find us. If you have any issues regarding arrival and entry please phone 07967 973889 or 01389 841815.

Bookings and Payments

How can I pay for my holiday?

We will send you a link in our booking invoice email that will allow you to pay via PayPal or with any credit/debit card.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes - Paypal and our new booking system allow you to pay online with any card.

Equipment

What do I need to bring with me?

All bed linen, towels, tea towels, cutlery, glassware, utensils, logs, stunning views and scenery etc are supplied at the cottages. Just dont forget your sense of fun and adventure!

Children and Pets

Are the cottages pet-friendly?

Yes, dogs are allowed by prior arrangement. We have a general limit of one dog per cottage. Guests who have stayed before with one dog and have left the cottage very tidy maybe a allowed to bring two dogs on their return visit!

Are the cottages child-friendly?

Yes, the cottages are child friendly with stove guards supplied on request. High chairs and cots are also available on request, on a first come first served basis.
