High Gavinburn Cottages were built in the 1800s by Lord Blantyre to house estate workers. They now provide a unique location that allows you to enjoy all aspects of Scotland near the vibrant City of Glasgow, from the stunning beauty of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, to our capital, Edinburgh, which is under an hours’ drive away.

We are well signposted when you reach the top of Station Road and pass under the A82 in the village of Old Kilpatrick, which lies below the Erskine Bridge and then it’s a case of following the Gavinburn signs into the Kilpatrick Hills.

We are also a short taxi ride from Glasgow Airport and a 1.5 km walk from Kilpatrick train station if you are leaving the car at home. There are regular trains roughly every half an hour, making Glasgow and Edinburgh easily accessible.

Alternatively, keep fit and get on your bike – you won’t find a better environment to enjoy a cycle!
